All you have to do is guess a four-letter word. You have 10 tries to get it right. To enter a guess type the word in the space provided and press return. After each guess you will be told how close you got. This is indicated in the results column as follows:
means you have entered a correct letter in the correct place.
means you have entered a correct letter, but in the wrong place.
For example:
means 2 letters in the right place and one in the wrong place
Important note:
These symbols only tell how many letters you got right. They do not tell you which letters you got right.
Additional Information for League Games
- Abandoning a game half way through will be treated as a lost
game and it will be scored as zero when calculating your scores for the league
table.
- Your position in the league based on your MasterWord Rating.
This is calculated using your average score and number of games played. A
player who scores well over a lot of games will get a better rating than a
player with a similar average who has only played a few games.
- If you don't have a very good score and think you could do
better you can reset your score to zero, however this option is not available
until you have played 15 games.
- If you do not play for 90 days or more, your score will be reset to zero. Your player name will NOT be deleted.
